Up for sale is a highly regarded, genuine Japanese-made MAC Professional MTH-80 8" Chef's Knife. This knife is being sold strictly AS-IS / FOR REPAIR due to blade edge damage. The Blade: There are two distinct, small chips on the cutting edge located near the tip of the blade (please see the close-up photos for exact detail). The knife will need to be re-profiled, sharpened, and thinned on a whetstone by the buyer to restore the clean edge. The Body: The rest of the blade face shows normal, minor superficial scratches from previous use and kitchen storage. The bolster and triple-riveted Pakkawood handle are completely solid, tight, and free of any cracks, wiggles, or structural damage.
