I sharpened the blade and then honed it with a leather strop. The handle was sanded and treated with BooS Block Board Cream. This is a restored Chicago Cutlery 66S Carving Knife made in the USA with an 8-inch straight blade made of carbon stainless steel. The handle is made of walnut.
